Logos are important. most of the time, a logo alone can give you an idea of the personality of a brand. Today, I will take a look at some logo changes and discuss which ones I like and/or dislike.
Animal Planet
This is the 2009 logo, It's so awful. The text "Animal" is in different shapes and sizes, the A is GIGANTIC, the word "PLANET" is tucked away at the bottom right, and THE M IS HUMONGOUS AND SIDEWAYS!
But in 2018, renowned design agency Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv revamped Animal Planet's branding by creating this playful logo:
PringlesNow that's a logo. The elephant in this may be a nod to the pre-2008 logo which had an elephant and the channel name in
Aurora Bold font that the Discovery networks used until 2006.

The 2009 Pringles logo is iconic. The free-flowing hairstyle and thick, burly mustache is iconic, along with that confident twinkle in his eyes. He knows you like his chips as much as he does.
But in 2020, the people who produce the classic chips decided to change their logo to this...
Fanta
As I am writing this, I am drinking a can of Orange Fanta (don't worry, this isn't sponsored). This year, Coca-Cola decided to revamp the Fanta brand to make it look the same internationally.
This is what Fanta looked like in the US before the rebrand:
This logo is so playful, and I like it. I like how the letters are uneven and cartoony, and the logo seems to pop out at you, similar to the Superman titles. It makes me want to grab a Fanta more than the original logo. I even think that the new Orange formula is better than the original, since it is more tangy and sweet, like a real orange!
This is a nice logo. The bubbly letters make you want to get a bottle or a can.
In 2023, the rebrand went into effect, causing the logo to change into this worldwide:
