My Stance on Unity's Pricing Changes: An Editorial (VIDEO)

As you might as well know, Unity Technologies has announced a new "Runtime Fee" for developers using their engine. This was announced by the same guy who was the CEO of EA from 2003 to 2017. Of COURSE it was an ex-EA exec.

 I, as a gamer, have a bone to pick with them. 3 years after they changed their logo to a GameCube ripoff, this company pulls this thing? (The image above uses the 2017 logo.)

The Switch game made with Unity I'm talking about is Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, a Super Smash Bros. style game featuring characters from SpongeBob, Teenage Robot, Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats and more!

Other than that, I'm livid. Game Devs deserve better than having to pay from the money they use to feed themselves.
