Update!

This is a quick update from The Chronicles of Trevor. I have another review in store for tomorrow! I am going to review all 3 parts of the 1988 BBC TV adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia. This classic fantasy franchise is the namesake of this blog, formerly known as Trevor's Review World, and Trevor's Place. I hope you tune in tomorrow, since you won't want to miss this triple-play of awesomeness.

If you don't know why I'm reviewing this one specifically, I have an affinity for the series' theme music, "Aslan's Theme", composed by the late Geoffrey Burgon, and when I was looking for a remastered version of the iconic theme on YouTube, I found all 3 parts of the adaptation from whence it came, fully remastered in HD!

The books adapted into this BBC miniseries are as follows:

1. The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (1988)
2. Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader ( 1989, 2 books adapted into a single part)
3. The Silver Chair (1990)

The 3 parts were originally shown as eighteen 30-minute episodes, 6 per part, but the video's uploader squeezed the episodes into 4 feature-film-length videos, one per book!

I will be watching the 3 parts after I do some bowling tomorrow morning (yup, I am a bowler), and my review will be posted just after I have watched the show. I hope to see you there!

These 3 parts cover 4 of the 7 books in the franchise, unlike the Walden Media - Disney - 20th Century Fox adaptation, which consists of 3 movies covering 3 of the books.

But I must go now. I hope to see you tomorrow, for this legendary review!
