And welcome to The Chronicles of Trevor, the blog that always finishes 1st, even after a blue shell strike.
Today, I'm talking about the news of the new voice actor of Mario and Luigi, Kevin Afghani. Kevin is a relatively new voice actor, who was in a fan-produced Dragon Ball series, and had his big break in 2020's Genshin Impact. But, he has some prior experience with Nintendo, having been the voiceover of various commercials for the Nintendo Switch system and some Nintendo-published games for said system.
I've heard some of Kevin's lines, and I think it's a great recreation of the classic Charles Martinet sound, and will prove to be an excellent replacement, considering he's in his 20s. His Luigi is extremely close to the green demon's classic 2000s voice, as heard in the Mario & Luigi RPG series.
Other than that, I wish Kevin Afghani good luck as the new voice of the bros, and I can't wait to play Super Mario Bros. Wonder!
