Welcome to the Chronicles of Trevor, the only blog where no news is good news.
I recently heard that WFXT, Boston 25 (ugh), has announced something is happening on their station on the 9th. From what I've heard, they're adding more news to their schedule, including the return of a 4PM Newscast!
I have some more speculations of what's also set to happen on that day. I could see them changing back to Fox 25, hiring more staff that are in tune to the news landscape of New England, and (this one's a longshot), changing their news music yet again.
From what I've heard, this is the updated schedule.
5AM - Noon: Boston 25 Morning News
Noon: Boston 25 News at Noon (New!)
1PM: Investigate TV +
2PM: Judge Mathis
3PM: TMZ Live
4PM: Boston 25 News at 4 (Returning!)
5PM-10PM are the same as the pre-9/9 schedule, with news from 5-7, syndicated celebrity shows from 7-8, and national Fox programming from 8-10
10PM: Boston 25 News at 10
11PM-11:35PM: Boston 25 News at 11 (Also Returning!)
This also comes after the station's hire of a new News Director back in July. They hired Scott Isaacs, who was formerly at WJAR, channel 10 in Providence, and before that, at WCVB Channel 5. I hope that under him, we can see a return to the Fox 25 name, and the fun morning shows of the Fox-owned days.
